Paradise of Virginia is a family business. Our professional staff is committed to providing the best possible medical practices, living situation, and life care for each of our residents. We are a Veteran family and we know Veterans respond best to other Veterans, so our team includes Veterans whenever possible. We include our residents’ families in decision making whenever appropriate. Our caregivers strive to accommodate each resident’s personal requirements and comfort.

Sherone Cephas, a Veteran who serviced 20 years in the Air Force. He holds a Business Administration degree from Northwestern State University, is a licensed assisted living administrator and medicine technician as well as a certified nursing assistant.

Sherone is a single parent who enjoys his family and the outdoors and serves as the Youth Director for his church.

Oral “OC” Cephas, a Veteran who served 22 years in the Navy, is a Physician Assistant and Licensed Assisted Living Administrator. A co-owner of Paradise of Virginia, he earned his Bachelor of Science, and his Certification of Physician Assistant from Alderson Broaddus University in West Virginia. OC has over 12 years’ experience as a Physician Assistant and worked in hospital care including urology, cardiology, and emergency services. He has worked in a variety of medical settings that include healthcare clinics, environmental health and safety, medical research, and cold weather warfare and survival.

OC is a member of the American Academy of Physicians Assistants Association. He loves spending time with his grandchildren and likes to ride his motorcycle.

Sandra Cephas is a Registered Nurse and Licensed Assisted Living Facility Administrator. A co-owner of Paradise of Virginia, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from California State University, as well as a Master of Healthcare Administration, with Geriatric and Mental Health Certification.

Sandra has served as Director of Nursing in several Assisted Living and Nursing home facilities over the last 15 years. Her professional experience includes home healthcare, hospital care, community mental health crisis, and outpatient counseling.

Sandra is a member of the National Association of Nursing. In addition to her work at Paradise of Virginia, Sandra is dedicated to her children and grandchildren and to deepening her faith.
