Magnolia Ridge Residential Care and Assisted Living Facility offers residential life care in a lovely one story residential style building on a quiet neighborhood street. It is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services for 34 beds.
Magnolia Ridge has a comfortable lounge for TV viewing and a family-style dining room, which opens onto a patio and enclosed yard with a small garden. We have a swing on the screened porch and a living room with a fireplace and piano for friendly socializing.
Our activities director is on hand to lead the fun.
A full range of services is available including home-cooked meals to meet individual diets, daily housekeeping, personal laundry, transportation, and as much personal life care as needed on admission and as needs change over time.

Cave Creek, in Botetourt County, has professional staffing to affordably meet the needs of Veterans at residential, assisted, and intensive levels of life care. We require no entrance fee. The monthly fee for residential level life care in a semi-private room includes dining, daily housekeeping, personal laundry, linens, medication administration, personal care assistance, and more. Private rooms are available. Cost is determined by the level of life care needed.
Cave Creek offers on-site planned activities, as well as recreational outings, weekly trips to Roanoke for shopping and transportation to appointments.
Cave Creek is licensed by the Virginia Department of Social Services for 55 beds and is approved by the Salem Veterans Administration Residential Care Program. Veterans who qualify for a pension based on need may qualify for an “aid and attendance” pension as well, enabling them to afford the life care services offered through Parade Rest of Virginia. Our experienced staff will assist with paper work and guide Veterans and/or their families through the application process to determine eligibility.

Parade Rest will be a new 91-bed state-of-the-art facility. Built adjacent to the Salem VA Hospital on a beautifully landscaped campus, we will offer affordable private and semi-private rooms opening onto court yards. All rooms have private baths and shared community spaces to encourage socializing with comrades and families.
